Kepa Kurl Wudjari People Archaeological evidence in Esperance shows occupation extending back at least 13,000 years. Stone artefacts, tool making sites, lizard traps, gnamma holes (machine-made granite waterholes), burials, quarry sites, rock-art, and ceremonial places. The Heritage-listed Bijou Theatre (est. 1896) is the oldest-surviving wood and iron theatre in Australia. It is owned and operated by the Amateur Community Theatre Company Esperance Theatre Guild,

Your blog would be my first Australian source to read. We visited much of Australia in the late 1980s on a rigorous camping tour. I would certainly welcome a return in our retirement. Any suggestions on an easier time there now would be welcome.

    That you for your positive comments. Now more than ever, carvaning, four wheel drive camping and motor home around Australia is now a must do for both grey and young nomads. This has lead to better facilities to use for those like yourself.
